Easier Qurban Experience (EQExp) is a web application designed to streamline the management and tracking of the Qurban (Islamic animal sacrifice) process for both committees and citizens.
Key Features & Purpose:
- Management Tool: It provides a platform for Qurban committees to organize tasks and manage the distribution process more efficiently.
- Tracking: It allows citizens/participants to track the status of the Qurban process in real-time.
- Accessibility: Built as a Progressive Web App (PWA), meaning it can be installed on a home screen and functions similarly to a mobile app for a better user experience on the go.
Technical Background:
The project was submitted for the PlanetScale and Hashnode Hackathon. It uses a modern "tech stack" including:
- Next.js: For the frontend and backend framework.
- Prisma & PostgreSQL: For database management.
- Clerk: For secure user authentication (allowing users to sign in via Google).
- Tailwind CSS: For a responsive and clean user interface.
